The PGA's Mission

The Peninsula Golf Associates, Inc. (PGA, Inc.) was founded in 1982 for the purpose of managing the operations of the Peninsula State Park Golf Course. PGA, Inc. leases the golf course from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and works cooperatively with the department to preserve the property. Overtime, Peninsula Golf Course has become one of the premier golf courses in Door County and the state of Wisconsin.

Peninsula Golf Associates, Inc. has a mission to provide an outstanding golfing experience for those that play Peninsula State Park Golf Course. Our purpose is to make ongoing improvements to the course and facilities through donations made to our Founders Club and by profits made by the golf operation. By making these improvements to our property and offering instructional programs for both adults and juniors, PGA, Inc. will promote and grow the game of golf and provide a playing opportunity for golfers of all ages and abilities in our area for years to come.

In 2004, PGA, Inc. became a 501(c)(3) organization and since then has created a Founders Club. Monies contributed to the organization are tax deductible and are used for the enhancement of the Peninsula State Park Golf Course, golf-related programs at the course, the State Park system, and the general public. Contributions have been made by individuals, families, and foundations. Were it not for their generosity, many projects would still be on the wish list. Instead, these donations have made it possible for PGA, Inc. to make significant improvements to the course and facilities.
